2015 saw an A2 return to service for the first time in 50 years. 707 Operations celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of R class restorations with a triple-header to Seymour. Puffing Billy provided day and twighlight operations using a variety of loco classes including Climax and Garratt types. Other tourist railways ran interesting regular and special trains. We visit the Alexandra Timber Tramway and the Coal Creek Railway for the first time. Eleven double-headed combinations are featured, as are suburban and country shuttles. R 761 became the first R class to visit Shepparton and Y 112 was the first steam loco to travel on the Geelong RRL. D3 639 had three mainline runs and we also enjoy cabrides on five locos.
