A definitive account of the 58 stations and sidings that once existed on the Warrnambool line from Geelong Racecourse Siding to Port Fairy Wharf over the years 1876 to the present day. The book is A4 format, 148 pages with 230 pics, diagrams and charts detailing the history of each station and siding from their respective openings, traffic through them and closings or up to their current operations. The narrative looks at safeworking, the amenities provided and loadings at each site, operational trends, the unique attributes at the far end involving maritime connections and mentions the short lived ballast lines and quarry sites.
